ANGEL MATA, Attorney at Law

All my life I have fought hard, I fought hard to graduate from high school, put myself through undergraduate and law school. Nothing comes easy and with this knowledge I feel a personal understanding for people going through hard times. I grew up in Pleasant Grove and have my own share of family and friends that have been through personal battles. Because of these personal experiences, I have dedicated my life to helping people and that is what inspired me to become an attorney in the first place--My strong desire to help people, especially juveniles and young people that deserve a second chance at life. My goal is for those in my care to receive fair representation.

In addition to helping represent those throughout our community I have recently been appointed as an Associate Judge of Hutchins Texas beginning in February 2015. I am also an Affiliate Professor of the UNT, Dallas College of Law and a Bedford Mentor to the students in the night program with a focus on criminal justice.

I am motivated and a hard worker. With personal connections in the community, and strong roots in Dallas I am familiar with law enforcement, the court system and politics of our great city. I would love the opportunity to go over your case and help you to the best of my abilities.
